X-Small: Belly button, areola, ears, upper lip, chin, sideburns
Small: Face, neck, underarms, fingers/hands, toes/feet
Medium: Full bikini, abdomen, upper arms, lower arms
Large: Full arms, chest, half back, upper legs, lower legs, full Brazilian
Make Packages of 8 visually prominent. Do not promise every client exactly 6-8 treatments; use ‘most clients require a series of treatments’ and note that treatment plans vary.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Laser hair removal works by targeting pigment in the hair follicle during active stages of hair growth. Because not every follicle is in the same growth phase at once, a series of treatments is typically needed for optimal reduction. Treatment plans vary based on the area being treated, hair characteristics and individual response.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment.
- Avoid waxing, tweezing or threading the area before treatment – the follicle needs to remain intact.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and self-tanner before your appointment.
- Arrive with clean skin free of lotions, oils or deodorant on the treatment area.
- Let your provider know about medications or health changes that could affect treatment.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Mild redness or sensitivity can occur after treatment and typically resolves quickly. Follow the aftercare instructions provided by your XO Betty provider and protect treated skin from excessive sun exposure.
